Question by Justin L: How much should I spend to get my air ducts cleaned?
I recently bought a house, and I want to have the ducts cleaned. I’ve never dealt with this before, so I admit I’m not too savvy on how much to spend. I’ve noticed vast differences in pricing….some places say they will clean 8 registers and one air return for . Other places I call offer duct cleaning for around 0.
What am I missing here? I want to make sure I get the right service done.

.00-.00 is a good price to have 8 registers and an air return done. Any company that wants around 0 is not going to do anything different than the one for .00. I have had this done and have 8 registers and never pay over .00. Sometime they will have a special for .00 pr. register. Don’t pay the 0 its a rip off. Good luck

We lived in our last house for 25 years and never had the ducts cleaned. There was never a need or a problem with them. Our current house is 13 years old and the ducts have never been cleaned. They don’t need it.
